ReplyDeleteHi! I heard a lot of good comments about U.C. and at the same time bad. I like U.C thou, even if I am not a graduate from this school. My only concern is, if the administration specifically U.C. Mambaling knows that they have incompetent one P.E.teacher and one Rizal teacher. They have no considerations. I would like to call the attention of U.C. Mambaling Admin. to please try to check with these kind of teachers if they are doing their job because as far as I know they are not. These teachers are just giving good or passing grades based on whom they like not based on students work. Is it fair? Some students just zipped their mouth because they are scared and some students complained but these teachers just embarrassed them. I heard the news about one GRADUATING student in this school who committed suicide because he was not able to graduate. My heart broke for the poor kid and parents. I am a teacher too. If I have students with multiple absences and did not take the quiz, I talked to them one on one and asked the reason. Teachers can tell if students are telling the truth or not. Or you can call the parents. If they were not able to take the test have a Make Up Test or work for them. INTERVENTION is very important not just by failing students without valid reason. I hope this comment will reach to the administration.

ReplyDeleteI am sending this message to express my sentiments regarding the tuition fee for this period of time. I am truly devastated about the details stated in the statement of account. I do not understand why the miscellaneous fee is still at a high cost when my grade school child is enrolling for an online class and all the necessities are personally provided (electricity, internet, laptops and etc.) at home. Why is it that I am paying for a computer laboratory fee when in fact my child is not using the facility? According to the IATF, children below 15 years old are not allowed to go out. Thus, there is no way a grade schooler can come to school. The Department of Education also mandated in not allowing a face to face set up and I will not take any risks to let my child go to school just to use the computer laboratory. Why do I have to pay the recognition fees ahead of time? I do not understand why do we have to purchase the eBooks when my child can also access it in the MLibro. In my opinion, it is just an additional expense and the eBooks are actually unnecessary.
I asked anyone from your staff and they always say, “The school is open to all students that is why miscellaneous, computer laboratory and recognition fees exist”. Yes, the school is open but come to think of it not all students can come to school. According to your Accounting Department, tuition fees are subject for adjustments but honestly I did not feel any adjustments at all as I compared it to the previous school year tuition fees, which normally I understand because the situation before was okay comparing to this school year when we are expriencing a pandemic. It would be unfair as a parent paying something which my child is not using and the online class set up is just 3 days synchronous and 2 days asynchronous which most of the time my child has more time in relaxing.
I decided to enroll my child in your school because I believe that the 20 pesos challenge can give the best affordable and quality education. I was not expecting this issue to arise and I do not want this unsettled matter. If I’m not mistaken most parents were complaining but the school keeps ignoring and not giving a concrete explainations of tuition fee is still very expensive and yet we parents had no choice because our child were already enrolled. I am looking forward for an immediate affirmative response. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteGood day! I just want to ask why is it that it is too hard to get a diploma in UC and they aren't that considerate enough especially the registrar's office. I asked my friend to process my docs since it is an urgent need. I had my authorization notarized in Cebu since I am working here in Vietnam in a small city and there is no place to get it notarized. They did not accept my papers and said I needed to have it notarized here in Vietnam. Logic? If it was possible here, I must have done it. Considering this pandemic time, why is it so strict? My co teachers have the same requirement and they were just asked to write a letter in their school (CNU as an example), only that. Only me from UC find it hard to get my papers. How sad is that?
